I'm waiting for more information and will keep this thread updated as it comes in. I have contacted the editor that is Atool software in Italy and they claim that the software can import DXF and write old Biesse and Morbidelli code. This time I have a bit more hope with a software package called ASPAN. ![]() I have come across this problem several times with other machines and never really found a good solution. These machines require a special CAM package that can write the specialised code that the machine can read. I have another person who is having the same problem with his Biesse Rover CNC. This is the case with Shane who has a Morbidelli author 504 mod: TRIA 7500 1996 machine. īoth Polyboard and StairDesigner write very nice clean and well organised DXF files that all modern CNC can use directly either in the software installed with the machine or through other CAM packages like Vcarve, ArtCam, EffiCad etc.īut problems arise when the CNC machines are older and can't read DXF. I'm starting this post because I often come across the problem when people have an older CNC that can't directly use DXF files from Polyboard or StairDesigner. ![]()
